Methodology

How JobFerret collects the job data behind every post on this blog.

JobFerret pulls job listings straight from the applicant tracking systems that companies run on their own career pages. It does not scrape job boards and does not republish listings from aggregators.

Where the listings come from

Eight applicant tracking platforms are read directly. A company that posts a role on its own career page through one of these platforms is picked up without the role ever needing to appear on a job board.

Total after removing duplicate postings of the same role at the same company: 316,243 active listings.

How often it is collected

The most recent collection finished 2 hours ago (2026-08-22 06:25 UTC).

Measured over the last 7 days, collection ran 56 times, with a median gap of 3.0 hours between runs. This is measured from the data itself, not from a schedule.

What is not claimed here

Location data is not reported. A large share of listings arrive with no stated location, so any count by country or region would understate reality by a wide margin. Pay figures are not reported either, because only some platforms expose them and the resulting sample skews high. Both are left out until they can be stated accurately.

Who writes the posts

Posts on this blog are published by JobFerret as an organization. Every figure in a post comes from the dataset described above, and a post is not published unless its claims can be traced back to it.
